Avoid These Hair Transplant Methods

Procedures That Should Be Red Flagged

It is true that medical science is far from having found the holy grail of all medicine, but, the fact that the advancements in medicine have allowed us to live better lives means that we’re practically closer to it than ever before. After all, these days, through countless surgical procedures, one who has part of a horrible accident can reconstruct his or her face from limb to limb, and bone to bone. This also means that those who have problems with their hair can easily have their scalp reconstructed and modified to the point that they will finally have the hair that they have always dreamed of.
Though, with the many procedures available out there, with each of which being considered as effective, chances are, you may want to consider the fact that some may not be as effective as others. This means that there are some procedures that you should avoid, procedures that are not only a waste of time and money, but also, a potential health hazard and something that puts you in unnecessary and unwarranted risk.
That being said and done, be sure to take note of the following hair transplant methods and be sure to take note of these.
• Round and square grafts were considered the in thing about a decade ago or two. These days? Nah. Skip it. The unnatural look makes it less desirable and that the operated area will not look as natural as you would like it to be, making it a potential waste of money.

• The line graft method, though, one of those most common, is also one of the most bashed as one of the methods that are not only inefficient but also, not cost effective. After all, getting a short strip of hair from a donor costs a lot, and so does the operation, and well, the scalp does not look natural which is something that you wouldn’t want.

• The flap technique is also something that shows promise but is also the sort of procedure that puts you in unnecessary risk. Given that it deals with the tissues themselves rather than just patches, chances are, scarring infection and the likes are likely to result if you do not take care of your scalp well post-surgery.

Now, this is not to say that if and ever you go Dr Ray Woods, that you should skip these methods, because, these methods still do work quite well. Then again, they are far less effective and far more risky, which means, a Dr Ray Woods Hair transplant procedure that is new and up to date is far better.
